"Religion & Politics" Volume One was basically Bible; this one opens a veritable can of worms. The deception of the last days. Like a snare it shall spread over the face of the whole earth.... What is being taught in our schools, shouted from the housetops of "Fake News" and even preached in our pulpits? Basically, some form or flavor of Marxism

But, but but, aren't these concepts inherently Christian, teaching us how we should treat our fellow man? Or were they spawned in the pit of Hell and championed by those looking, first and foremost, to supplant and destroy the gospel of Jesus Christ? And these people despise Jews with only slightly less fervor.

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. I Timothy 4:1-3

And so we have a powder keg, requiring only the tiniest spark to set it off. Will God visit His people in this hour? And what happens when the Spirit of Truth meets up with the volatile gasses of deception blowing across our land? Look for confrontation....

I want to do more than entertain, I want to teach, convince, and promote change in the lives of those who read my books. Ideas are dangerous, they have the power to overthrow the established order. A fearsome monster exists in our world, a thought-numbing, close-ranked mindset that permeates all of society. How do we destroy it? How do we even properly identify it?

Ultimately it comes down to two kingdoms, the earth and all of history being the battlefield. It encompasses all the wars, the struggles, the triumphs, and the pain of the human condition. It's far bigger than Republican vs. Democrat, Capitalist vs. Socialist, Christian vs. Islam, Liberal vs. Conservative, or any other dividing line we try to rally behind.

Gary's first novel began life as a concept in 1977, written out first in longhand and then pounded out on a vintage "Underwood Model 5" typewriter with glass-faced keys and Victorian stenciling. The concept was set aside until almost 30 years later, when Gary realized it was still a story that needed to be told.
