TORCH Singles and Gary

Ninety-seven was a year of many interesting things for Gary. He finished several bookcase projects around his house and toward the end of the year got the doorframes back up in most of the rooms. He also had a bout with pneumonia, the first of several. They appeared to be partially triggered by some of the refinishing chemicals he'd been using but he was starting to feel the effects of some dental issues that would come to a head a few years later.

Church did prove exciting for Gary this year. Besides his TORCH involvement there was at least one Eternity play and the summer revival conference, both which saw him heavily involved. In addition, there was starting to be a prayer presence for the Generation Unleashed youth conference combining two of Gary's favorite subjects, prayer and young people.
